Here's a barrage of Freeride madness from the FWT CHamonix 2013. Everyone always says that true progression happens when people take freestyle moves into big mountain terrain, and we definitely saw a lot of that on the last two tour stops. The athletes get a bit of rest now as they prep themselves for the Kirkwod Comp at the end of February.
Canada had a strong showing at Chamonix, with Pemberton-based Laurent Gauthier skiing into 9th place and Fernie's Jaime Rizzuto doing the same thing on his snowboard. Yeah boys.....looking forward to seeing what's coming down the pipe at Kirkwod.
