Where to go Family Day Long Weekend?

Hey all,

New to the site and just getting back into the b/c and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on good locations in K-country (smith-dorrien highway), banff or along the parkway to go ski.  Looking for something that is not to huge or complex as I don't have a ton of experience.
