I've heard they're crappy right now...anyone been out there yet? Is it worth the trip from Calgary?

I have not been, and I won't be going until I can't see grass beside the Angel lift.

They probably only need one or two decent dumps before Angel will open up.

I heard it's only worth it if you have old equipment you don't mind getting damaged on rocks etc.

Speaking of sunshine, I'm looking for people around my age (27) to snowboard with there as soon as they get a bit more snow. I'll post a separate topic for this with more specifics about myself as well. Or PM me if willing. Thanks.

I was at Sunshine, but it really just reminded me why I never go there. Horrible conditions mixed with idiots.

Was only there for opening weekend, but it wasn't that bad..big lineups one day but the weekday was fine. Great times. It's early season skiing with a non epic start. What do you expect?

Is there somewhere with better conditions in Alberta right now? Sure it would be sweet if they gave half price tickets or something, but honestly, what did you expect? It's November.
