Stewart / Bear Pass info????

Has anyone skied the highway between the cranberry junction and stewart??  I know there is some gnar up there to be schralped.  Any tips on where to start??  Any cabins to tour into??

yes, there will be pow, as well as storms & bad vis. going up bear glacier from the bear lk don't need sled, but need to manage crevasses & avy path entering onto glacier from tongue or sides. If you go anywhere else, you will need a long ski in, tow or a sled. salmon glacier is 50k from hyder.
