Just to stir the pot and start this debate again. Oh yeah baby, They took yet another week away from us. I can only imagine how far this is going to go . How long until we are only open holidays, weekends and reading break? I love R.C.R! while you still can

Wow, I'm going to have a hell of a time saving for a pass, its going to put me in the red, and the season ends even earlier. I fucking love you RCR. Pieces of shit.

i hate to do this but... as long as i have been here the resort has closed the week or weekend after easter, i noticed that easter comes very early this year, (i think the end of march), so as per usual, they will close the week/end following easter, i dont like it either, but as long as they dont close early when easter comes late,then all is fair, we will just have to earn our turns, (with no gorbys) in our late season April pow

remember a few seasons back when we ripped april pow pretty much every day until the 20th! wether or not they always close the week after easter.. april 6th is way too early.. I mean cmon! there is a good thread about this going on http://www.ourfernie.com/forums/there-any-soul

how many times to you have to go to pay off a pass? you should easily be able to do that in 4 months.

stupidest response ever... you must work for RCR you are totally missing the point! but I just crunched the numbers and it only takes 12.5 days to pay off a pass. Every year of my life prior to this one I could have paid off my pass in the month of april alone!

Looks like we are on track to break the 4 meter mark for our base by closing day. Now we have to have our 4 meter party on the day the ski hill closes. LAME

Fernie is fine- tired of same guy always whining....
wow! i am tired of the whining....just move if you do not like Fernie. I live in Northern, BC and we have local ski hill and they closed way before fernie and we have a huge amount of snow...still on the ground. I was thinking of moving to Fernie but always see this same guy always whining...i talk to lots of people down there and it seems like a real cool place to live and ski. Why do you still live there if all you do is complain- you sound like not such a happy person. Sure your ski hill might not do all things right but at least your lifts operate...ours had challenges this winter, and your cats run....some mornings our one cat did not start. So make the best of it. Live is full of good turns!! |
