Hi there,

I will retire my stormrider this season and need to make my mind on what to get. I am a bit out of the loop since I've been buying only stockli for the past few years but want to switch to something else for this one, so I need some help.

Here is the topo

Use: everyday backcountry ski. Deep pow to steep icy couloir...

Available length 185 and up

I'm considering a slight rocker (never tried but heard good things)

I want something made in Canada or the US.

At this point I have my radar on the Husume from Prior.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Jeremie

Everyone I know on prior skis

Everyone I know on prior skis likes them. I haven't tried them in a while. Rocker'd skis are so much better, you're going to love it.

Not sure where DPS is made but they are light and have a cult following. I personally ski on Salomon and am happy with the Czar and the Rocker 2. I don't think the Rocker 2 is your ski though. You're more like an El Dictator kind of skier.

get out there!

Check out

Made in BC, sounds like a 185cm anton would work for you. Hard to beat their graphic  selection as well.

I am not skevik skis, just love skiing them.
