Indeed, they do look rather whitish:

Went out on Sep 25 to have a look at Cornwall but wanted to find a better approach. The one I have used previous is a little heavy on suffering. (Mex and powderface can vouche for that.)
Well, I got close to the objective but some ugly terrain impeded progress. Cornwall was looking wind blasted and boney anywho:

Luckily my route had taken me up a slope which was suitably filled in. If you've ever scrambled Glasgow via Alan Kane's description you might recognize this one:

Oh, I hit some rocks, but not as many as I expected. And the snow she was cold, light and dry. I beleive it is commonly referred to as...powder.
Yes, the lazy hazy days of summer are over! From my vantage point I could see the gleaming towers of Calgary in the clear cold air:

Bless us all Ullr and bestow your gifts upon your worthy followers. Amen.
Sick! I was at school instead! RAD!
seriously though, nice work on the early turns.

Sizable dump in the Cayoosh of Duffy Creek near Pemberton a couple days ago. Looked like at least 30+ in the alpine-no rocky terrain was visible and the trees looked white-just like winter. Unfortunately the sun poked out and the snow started to melt by late yesterday.
