The conditions are usually pretty amazing and as far as I know there is only one way in...from the top of the Outer Mongolia Poma. Don't go unless yyou know.

I know a guy that just can't stop raving about them, says there better than anything he's ever skied, and he spent a year in Whistler.

strong review from a credible source, probably worth checking out

Who was saying that? They are pretty much totally lame unless you have a death wish. They get blown off quickly and have trecherous cliffs everywhere. If you are not prepared to launch 60 footers into tree landings then don't even think about it.

I agree the chutes are sketchonce! Mandatory big airs into trees. When i skied them with my buddy he ended up hitting a tree after he dropped a 50 footer and it broke his collar bone, arm and leg. Getting him out was a big pain which took over 10 hours...B pass is much better![/b]

I love the media, those guys aren't experts. Experts know when to stay out of
the backcountry, especially in CO. When it snows as much as it did in Jan. an
'expert' knows to wait for the snow to settle. The mountains are full of fools these days.
