Thought I would post a new conditions thread. Sledded in the Dogtooth range near Golden yesterday (Feb 17). The whole range is wind scoured and there are some scary wind slabs that are releasing high (cornice failure or rider trigger) and running full path. The snow is pretty bad for skiing or boarding but really set up and amazing for touring. We linked the whole range yesterday from Gormans to Quartz and it a fun little trip. Blue bird conditions and great views.

Sunday at Eagles Pass was pretty solid... Blue blazer... and hero snow (could go anywhere but still found lots of over the hood). Found some good laps too but our pits told us to stay away from anything too rad.

went to quartz creek yesterday. There were some deep pockets of snow. Kinda punched out and really really cold. still a fun day. http://www.sledshot.com/news.php?action=more&id=164 avi danger in the purcells is a little spooky. see above link.

went to quartz again on the 24th. it's pretty punched. we were farming deep pockets and had a good day but we need a meter.

Hit up Silent Pass yesterday. It was pretty good. There's some really deep pockets. We managed to snowboard 5 good laps each. It snowed there all day.
