Doesnt sound like Big White will have much open this weekend. Would it be a waste of time to check it out this weekend? Anyone else going?

waste of time unless you like lots of rocks, green runs, and big line ups. Silver Star will always be better the first couple of weeks, until we get moresnow.

Big White opens on 25th
This weekend at Big White was pretty good. There were no line ups on Sunday.. they ran the Snow Ghost and the Ridge Rocket. There's still lots of pow, the rocks are pretty obvious and what patrol doesn't see... Bullet and Black Forest to open Saturday.

Big White opens on 25th
Went up on Saturday, there was knee deep pow. Big line ups after noon though. Anybody get a chance to go up today?

Big White opens on 25th
Big winds today. Plenty of stashes to be found and some slabbier conditions further from the beaten paths. Still really good skiing. |
