BC skiing in the BC winter 2008?

Hi everybody!

I am 24-year old men from finland. I am travelling to Vancouver 18th january.

I have ten weeks time and my plan is to ski in the British columbia terrain. This is my first time there and I don't know the places.

I have been thinking that it would be nice to stay in couple different skiing areas. Do you have any ideas? Nelson? Revelstoke? Glacier national park? Maybe whistler? Something else?

I have a teleskis and safetygear with me and skins also. I like skinning very much and would like to spent a lot of time on skins.

At the time I will come alone and I need friends to ski. Also some place to sleep. I am a nice person and easy to get to know.
