article formating

I dont know if this is just a problem with my browser on my mac, but the word wrapping of articles on the new sight keeps them in a tiny column. It looks as if this is to avoid pics and other frames on the page, but it makes for lots of awkward scrolling when reading articles. Is there any way to fix the wrapping once the test goes past the rest of the frames on the page?
