That “Aaaaahhhhhhh” of fear is now a cry of excitement that although the village has been overtaken by the masses, we have our precious mountain all to ourselves for the next two weeks. I was the winner of a pair of Jimi 110 skis this year, but considering how little I've had the chance to ski and how bad the snow has been up here, I don't have any need for another pair and could use the money for gas and lift tickets.

They've been drilled once (Medium Freeride+), but never used.

Friday Funday at Whistler Blackcomb: Enough Snow for Everyone

My days of the week go as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Fraturday, Saturday, and newly-discovered 'Funday,' which happens to fall on the real world's Friday, but in reality is Sunday in my work/ski calendar. And Funday it was on January 15th, with 70cms pounding Whistler Blackcomb in 24 hrs. I almost had to go buy a snorkel, seriously. Read more for pics and the story.

Early January at W/B, So Far So Good
