Sweetgrass has dropped another episode that drips with with the sweat and soul of adventure. Their patience in the southern hemisphere is starting to pay off though and they're getting a chance to do what they went down there for. SKI. It's not without its hardships, but they're making it happen.

Salomon Freeski TV is back for it's 6th season! Twelve short films will be released online bi-weekly starting October 9, 2012. This year the Salomon team chased powder and stories through Russia, Japan, Chile, Austria, France, Sicily, Canada, USA and more in what promises to be the best season yet.

Sometimes when I get cold in the wilderness, I imagine myself seeking shelter in Josh Bibby's beard. I laid my casket-sized ski bag on the wet tile floor in the rural bus station. A vendor handed me two bananas that I pointed to, and I hunkered down to wait for the late morning bus to whisk me to Las Trancas, the tiny town that everyone stays in to ski at Termas de Chillan.

It's pretty hard to believe that this volcano is the one making the news right now with massive eruptions. 2 years ago Salomon Freeski TV sent a crew down there and they shredded the inside of the crater.
