Blow-in Effect.

Awesome conditions...the blow-in effect.
Well, the last few days have been my best of the season. Friday was insane. Though the weather plot only reported 22 cms, it was blown in knee deep everywhere and waist deep in select places. This blow-in effect happens on a regular basis. The reason we don't report it on the "official" snow report is that is impossible to quantify. It is different with every snowfall and depends on the wind direction. Sometimes its an extra couple cms, sometimes it's double. Anyway, rest assured that conditions are great at Kicking Horse and with more snow in the forecast, this should continue.
