First day out of the year, but by far the deepest so far. A short video after of the deepness

So finally finished exams, and we decide to head down to Sunshine to get some good turns in before the masses invade starting that Saturday. We were not expecting much and were greeted with 9cms according to the snow report.
We were already running late with all of the stuff you have to take care of on your first day, park pass, lift passes, etc..., but by the time we got up, the snow was still untracked. The midweek-pre Christmas break crowd was generous enough to leave many money turns for us in the Paris basin.
I can't remember skiing snow that deep in a long time, it was definately more than 9cms. I am 6 foot 2-ish and it is not too often that I get faceshots, but I was getting multiple faceshots in pretty much every short Paris Basin lap.
There is nothing like the feeling of having snow billowing over your sholders and into your face as you turn through the smooth buttery snow.
Here is a short video of the day's exploits. Warning slo-mo
