Snow snow and more snow
Submited By Monasheemountaincats On 2007-12-12
December 12 ( and we are in mid-winter snow form) Greetings from the "Snow Belt"

Just got in from another day of deep, fluffy snow. Our mid mountain settled base is pretty close to 2 meters (with 30 cms of that being soft fresh new snow from the past 48 hours). Up in the alpine we measured 2.5 meters of the white stuff. Coverage is excellent all the way down through the trees to our pickups at 1500 meters. It looks like mid-winter even though its still so early in the season... hopefully a sign of things to come.

More snow is in the forecast for the upcoming weekend too ( trust me you will never hear us complaining about having too much of a good thing.)

Work should be fully complete on all our snow-cat roads and we should be able to enjoy the fruits of our labors. The deeper and steeper and fluffier the better....it's good to be addicted to the "white powder" you just have to pick the right type.

Be sure to check the website (Monasheemountaincats.com) for all the latest info and some pics of life on top of the world.

Cheers Kris and David
