Every day has been improving upon the next so far at Fernie Snow Valley with today being the best resort day yet. It has managed to flurry about 10-15cm of snow since opening day on saturday and the snowmaking on the lower mountain has really helped as well.
We even ventured out into places like upper lost boys trees, boomerang and bear chutes for the first time this season. The crust is still pretty viscious underneath, but the new snow on top almost makes it worth while. Then there is the fun crust on dust stuff nearer the bottom which makes it even more exciting.
C'mon Griz.. we know you got it in ya!
