A Goodbye Letter from Stu Osborne

<p><br />After 14 years of running the most successful terrain parks in the industry, I am moving on to work with the Employee Experience department.<br /></p><br /><p><br /><br /></p><br /><p><br />In 1991 I started as a snowboard instructor with the intention of creating & running a park & half pipe on Blackcomb. It took 2 seasons of reasoning with upper management why it would be a good idea to offer Parks for our guests now & in the future. After I went to New Zealand & set up the first park & pipe at Turoa Ski Resort, I got the call & accepted the position of snowboard coordinator on Blackcomb. From hand digging the first half pipe, riding backwards in the pipe dragon & working with a very loose group of staff & volunteers, the Parks have come a long way.
