Fun Surprise

With the Cdn Rockies hurting,we decided to drive a few hours with zero expectation of snow. A few hours of skinning up resulted in some of the best turns of our lives. I know people say this all the time, but this came out of nowhere. We stumbled upon a solid 1,500 ft pillow and rock drop line that we had both never encountered before. Face shots were everywhere with disapearing acts every few turns. We were literally school kids giggling like mad, laughing at what we were experiencing. This was the last thing we expected..especially for Nov 28th!!We labelled this location "old faithful" last year as one could always count on snow here, sure lived up to its rep this time. Came back home and showed pics with people not believing that we were encountering waist deep face shots a few hrs drive away. Check out pics under my name in todays Photos.Great to know with little snow in the Bow Valley, one can drive a few hrs and be hitting some of the finest snow they will ever experience.
