2006/07 season recap
Submited By whistler On 2007-09-28

Last winter was one of my best seasons. It started out with record snowfalls in Whistler and all over B.C. I spent all of 06 skiing and sledding in Whistler. There were too many powder days to count. The new year started with an Oakley trip to a bunch of cat/heli lodges near Nelson B.C. The snow just kept coming. Then home to film a Warren Miller segment. We scored with clear skies and great snow. Then it was north to Bralorne to film for the new Frontier films sled movie. Scoring once again with great conditions. Next stop Revelstoke to shoot with photogs, Bryn hughes and Damian Cromwell. Back to Bralorne for a Freeskier story and to film with Wink inc for National Geographic HD. Soon as I got home it was over to Vancouver Island where we boarded a 115 foot yacht to cruise north into Nights Inlet where the heli was waiting to take us into the Waddington area. after a narrow miss with a class 4 Avi, We pulled the pin and headed back to Whistler to finish a few different segments. Managed to get a bunch of great spring days in the heli as well as a ton of great snowmobilling. hope this coming season can be anywhere close to as good.
