LOST AND FOUND and Gaper Day 2007

<p><br />If I had to choose between Teton Gravity Research?s movie, LOST AND FOUND and Doglotion.com?s Gaper day 2007, I would have to call a draw. LOST AND FOUND is a killer flick full of big lines, big names and some of the best segments I?ve seen this year, including Ian McIntosh?s opening segment. I doubt it was the cold air giving people goose bumps and I didn?t see any geese in the room.<br /></p><br /><p><br />Gaper Day 2007 was so entertaining the theater erupted in cheers every ten seconds. Ian, Dana Flahr, and a host of local riders and pros made it look like a good idea to spend your last day on Blackcomb wearing one-pieces and wrapping tape around your head in the gondola. These were some of the funniest jump turns, dirt skiing, sunglasses and group ski shots in the history of lame. And, on a side note, I don?t think ?spelunking? means ?swimming?. Anyway, it was so good guys; so good!<br /></p><br /><p><br />What can I say about LOST AND FOUND? Oh man! When I think of steep faces and backcountry terrain, it?s a no-brainer to think of Ian McIntosh and Jeremy Jones. But, I will now think Kye Peterson as well. As if people didn?t already think of him. This kid rocks!
