2 weeks into a 2 month long trip

<p><br />Hi all, how's it? 2 weeks into a 2 month long trip and it?s been awesome so far. <br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="http://www.untrackedlines.com/?q=gallery&g2_itemId=482&g2_imageViewsIndex=1"><img longDesc="Wakey" width="500" src="http://www.untrackedlines.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=483&g2_serialNumber=2&g2_GALLERYSID=b623d3798d8a01631f3c96cac0134438" alt="wakey" height="375" /></a><br /></p><br /><p><br />Upon arrival in NZ I headed up to the Northeast coast of the South island to get some surf on some epic right point breaks. Snow capped mountains right off the beach pretty much, and magma (something or other) was pumping a few feet overhead. I stayed up there camping on the beach for a few nights before heading down to Wanaka for the Burton NZ Open. Having just camped out the night prior to showing up at Snowpark, people were looking at my car a little weird, tent laid out and drying, surfboards out, wetsuit drying also. I was a little rusty from not riding ice in a while, but the comp went well. I had to work my way up from prequels to finals (never done the NZ Open) and ended up fifth by the end of it all.<br /></p><br /><p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.untrackedlines.comhttp://www.untrackedlines.com/?q=node/75">read more</a></p>
