Many of us are trying to grasp reality after the tragic avalanche, which claimed the lives of 7 snowriders outside of Revelstoke on Sunday, January 20th. We all know that the lives we lead in the mountains come with inherent risks, some of which, we have no control over; we choose to accept these risks to pursue our dreams and goals in the wonderful playground of the mountains.
There will probably never be an explanation as to why terrible accidents like this happen...knowing that these people were pursuing their dreams and doing what they loved may offer some of us comfort in accepting the unknown.
Biglines would like to offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends affected by this tragedy.
