O' Doosie! It was a s#&@ kickin, shin dig at the Art's Station in Fernie on Thursday the 20th when the much anticipated shred porn flick from Dubs Brothers Films hit the big screen.
Tickets were hotter the New England Patriots and were gone long before the show commenced.
To ensure maximum stoke and the perfect alcohol / crowd member ratio Matty and Adam L from Commit Snow and Skate gave like Santa Claus drunk on "nog" feeding the greedy mass with a snowboard, bindings and half their entire stock in schwag, while an unnamed grom tended the twoonie bar, keeping the liquid gold flowing like liquid gold. First Kiss from Capita and Cold World from Technine preceeded the lamp and added that little bit of gangster everyone was feelin'.
The After party at the Royal got extremely greasy making for a night of good times, cold beer and sick local talent.
An event like this can only happen with tremendous support. A big thank you to Matty and Adam at Commit for everything they contributed, to the boys who ran the door, Oz at the Arts Station and a big thanks to the RCMP of Fernie for not bustin the twoonie bar!
