Ever experience the "powder dream"? You know the ones where the snow is perfect, the terrain is never ending, and as you float down the line, the conditions just keep getting better and better? The powder dream never has any kinks in it. Everything plays out like it was meant to be. The perfect skin, the perfect 32 degree powder field, the perfect amount of snow, the perfect group of buds, the perfect scenery, and the perfect run.....

Stash This

after run....

after run.....

and so on. I have them just about every other night,
but on this day I got to live one of them.

Usually they are ski dreams where every little detail
is right on the money. Every turn yields a face shot,
the consistency of the snow is that of the lightest
and softest cotton, and the terrain is just right for
charging hard through deep pow. The dream where the
scenery is almost that out of a fairy tale book. The
dream where the approach becomes one long meditative
state of mind where the mind and body connect.

The dream where the stoke rises higher and higher each
and every step or stride.

The approach on this day was spiritual. Not in a
godly way, but in more of a natural way. It was like
we were flirting with mother nature and she was giving
in. The gates to heaven were open and we got our
experience through the form of deep powder and some
amazing scenery. No other words can really describe
so I'll let the pictures do the talking....
