How many years have you been skiing?
15 or 16 years


That's a lot, out of all those years is there one day/moment that stands out?
Skiing a new line on the Lizard Head wall in Fernie with Stokie. It was the last day of the season April ‘06’ and he had showed me the line earlier that morning. I was really nervous all day having to wait till after 4 to ski it but so amped. I felt pretty awesome after skiing it.


Apparently you shred every comp you go in, how did you do this year?
I love to compete and won a bit of cash on the side when I was up in Canada this year. I didn’t really work for 4 months at the beginning of the year and was still able to buy booze, pay rent, bills and food and still do some little roadies. I also did really well this season in NZ competing in a few big mountain comps and a lot of park and pipe comps and was able to pay for my ticket back to Canada with my winnings.

Who inspires you the most?
I have so many people that inspire me. Friends & Family….Especially the people I remember that taught me to ski in my days of skiing as a kid in Fernie– I thank them for that! I really just look up to anyone that rips and likes to go hard. But most importantly I am really inspired by my twin sister, Maria, I wouldn’t have been able to do a lot of things without her. She’s always pushing me telling me I can go bigger but then she’ll go and rip up a line and go just as big. She amazes me every time I ride with her. She frikin rips on that board!

If you could be any Supper Hero, who would you be? and why?
I would have to Stay ‘Storm’ from X-men. Imagine having the power to be able to control the weather- rain, wind, fog but most importably snow! Imagine the snow storms you could create….sooo much POWDER everyday!

Some people consider you the life of the party, any comments?
You know your enjoying life when you can party hard and get up in the morning feeling like rat shit, put on your ski gear suck it up and go rip up the mountain with your mates.

To one day win the IFSA world tour. Also one day get into ski movies and to be able to get little Grommies out there ripping it up and finally to get motivated to finish uni!!!! Don’t think that’ll be happening too soon.
