Here is a blast from the past. Yesterday the Biglines crew took the day off from hanging Christmas lights-our Fall Cash Cow-to go skiing at Sunshine for the opening day to celebrate Robin Scrimger's return to skiing after breaking his femur last winter in an avalanche. Good to have you back Scrim and we'll be seing you on the other side of the camera this winter.

What do you get when you take a guy with a broken femur to whistler in March amidst a huge dump? You get broken mans buddy's shredding sweet pow pow everyday while boneman gets to have meetings and enjoy the other things that Whistler has to offer. Read on for the video.

Whistler in March

Features: Dominic Melanson, Kris Cormier, Malcolm Sangster and Random McRipper

In my case these included the gym, pool, hot tub and a little bit of apres, which can be partaken by anyone, able bodied or gimped. The best part about not being able to ski, is watching the video that your friends shot that day and telling yourself that 'meh, I'm not missing out', even though nightly snowfalls and faceshots tell you otherwise. What was it like? Well lets just say that you wish you could've been there and so do I.

Being broken in Whistler isn't all that bad really. The first thing that you will immediately notice is that you have a lot of company. Ski towns have more hobbled members than most, and coming to a ski town gives you a chance to acknowledge your crippled bretheren with a nod or a smile. The physiotherapy in these towns is top notch which will get you back on your feet as soon as possible. In a town like Whistler, there are a plethora of restaurants, entertainment and clubs to help drown your sorrows and forget about the 20cms of fresh that just fell.

For those of you who aren't injured, well............... obviously you've been enjoying it out there - and more power to you. Stay strong and stay healthy, because as much as I tell myself 'its cool' not to be out there, deep down I know that I have missed an epic season.

Hope you enjoy the vid.
