The 2nd annual Master Blaster sponsored by Rivers Oceans and Mountains WENT OFF at Whitewater Ski Resort today. The conditions were tough but the talent represented with a field of local rippers participating in this insane event. Honestly, I havent seen any event that compares to the craziness of this one. Take the Blast, one of the gnarliest inbounds rock star ski runs on the planet and send a bunch of rowdies down it over and over to see who can come up with the most runs in 3 hours.

The winner of the Master Blaster this year is Mr. Ridiculous Travis Steeger. This 16 year old managed to finagle his way out of the youngsters category and into the adult one finishing five seconds shy of 23 runs down the killer. The day was full of balls out straight lines, sketchy white knuckle hold on's, and explosive crashes.
