If you've never been to Banff,Alberta, then you are missing out on a major point in History across North America. Banff was established as Canadas first National Park in 1885, and is the 3rd in the world. With a plethora of ski resorts to choose from and a wicked ski town atmosphere, there is nothing that Banff can't offer. Unlike some of ski towns, banff is a mixture of skiers from Sunshine Village, Lake Louise and Norquay. They all culminate to enjoy the Banff atmosphere. Here is a little bit of Banff info to help you enjoy your time to the fullest.

Stash This

The Ski choices are obvious, Norquay offers skiing by the hour for the late or early starter. You can be on the way up Sunshines gondie within as little as 15 minutes from town. The best stash at the shine is the Dive. Beacons, Shovels and a Probe will get you access to some of the longest, steepest, sickest inbounds terrain in North America. A little further down the road sits Lake Louise the steep skiing mecca of Kicking horse. The snow has been steadily blanketing the Banff area. Typically our biggest snowfall months are February through May and the base is filled in beautifully.
