With the summer solstice rapidly approaching, the sun will reach its highest point above the northern hemisphere in a matter of months transforming bustling snow covered ski resorts packed with smiling sun tanned skiers back to the deserted, lift line-cigarette butt littered ghost towns that they were before the first snow covers up the impact that humans have had on nature. With this said it’s a long time away till the next season.

So you’ve put away your skis, you’ve pulled out the bike and forgotten that falling on snow is much less painful then falling off you bike into dirt, bushes and rock. You’ve also forgotten about the fresh crisp winter air and have traded it in for the dust that your buddy’s fat tire kicks up in front of you. Your fine, you’ve forgotten about winter…Heck your stoked your town finally has some college girls on summer break and your odds are on the up and up after a long dry winter.

But what if there was a place that it snowed during the summer…there were more girls then guys…a place that everything was filthy cheap…you were no longer a bum, but a man of wealth. A place that the powder snow doesn’t get skied up from one storm to the next, a place you could afford a lift ticket, a place you could afford a hotel, a place you can even afford getting wasted every night, a place women desired you and finally a ski town girl that actually measured up to a 10. No this is not a fantasy or a dream, it’s South America, a ski bums heaven.

Stay tuned for a full series of debauchery, resort profiles and maybe a few turns in search of the endless winter.
