STARS, SKIERCROSS, SNOWBOARD DEMOS AND SLALOM!
January at Sunshine Village promises to be action packed! The fun starts with the Celebrity Sports Invitational Jan 8 - 11. Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Mary Richardson Kennedy will be hosting more than 50 sport, film and television stars, who will compete in a variety of events, including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and alpine downhill racing.

Jan 17 & 18th sees the return of the SAAB Salomon Crossmax Skiercross race to Sunshine Village. Witness the thrills and spills of head to head racing over the bumps and turns of the skiercross course where the race is never over until you have crossed the line.

The Burton Demo tour makes its first stop at Sunshine Village on Jan 24th & 25th. Check out their latest equipment for free!

To finish up the month there is more excitement and adrenelin courtesy of the Jeep King of the Mountain event. Sunshine Village is proud to be
the first Canadian mountain to host this event which features a unique Y shaped course to be tackled by skiers and riders!

SKI AND SNOWBOARD ADULT IMPROVEMENT CAMPS
If you have ever looked on in awe as someone swooshed past you
gracefully and effortlessly and you've thought "I wish I could be like
that", now is your chance! The cream of our ski and snowboard school
instructors will be leading three different skills camps over the coming
months. What's more on certain dates if you stay at the Sunshine Inn for
a week these camps are included free!

Learn to ski /snowboard: Learn to ski or snowboard safely and at your
own pace. You'll learn about all the things you need to know to give you
the confidence to be be cruising and linking turns by the end of the
week.

Ladies ski / snowboard camps: All abilities from beginner to expert are
welcome to join in this program especially designed for women. From
basic skill development to ski improvement in steeps, bumps, powder and
carving we use a proven approach combined with ongoing video breakdown.

Adventure camp:
Advanced to expert skiers and riders are invited to join
our best level 3 and 4 instructors to push their limits in our two,
three and four day Adventure Experiences. Using our proven approach
combined with a fast paced classroom on the slopes we'll help you
improve your technique on the steeps, in the chutes, trees and bowls. To
wrap things up you'll be able to put your honed skills to work in
Delirium Dive with your new mates and instructor (subject to weather /
conditions).

SNOWBIKES AT SUNSHINE VILLAGE
Guests that have been to Sunshine Village recently may have noticed a
handful of people zipping about on shiny yellow snowbikes. These
ultra-modern lightweight bikes are easy to ride and tonnes of fun. Our
management team were among the first to test them and we were lucky to
get them back off the mountain they were enjoying themselves so much. So
after much heated debate (couldn't we just keep them for ourselves,
pleeeeeaaaasssee?) we are delighted to announce that they are now
available for you to rent for a full or a half day. Go on, try it - you
