One of the most beautiful and deadly peaks in Roger's Pass, Mount Cheops can offer the adventure skier everything he has ever dreamed about. She'll let you venture onto her slopes in Mid winter some years, and definitely will not disappoint.
FD: ?
Height: tops out around 10,000 ft
Access: Rogers Pass, Connaught Creek or Balu Pass
Characteristics: Huge North facing playground up in the Pass
Best time: when ever it's bomber - how do you like that for a solid answer. Be careful it's a huge terrain feature on a very dangerous peak. Treat it with respect.
The Run: Around 3000 ft of the best skiing around. There are as many lines as you can think of, use your head and pick safe lines, there are some of them. The Glory Run is the obvious line starting in a 1000 ft 40 degree couliour then onto a huge plateau/bowl, and down some fun little chutes to the valley floor. But the pre-glory entrance offers a whole bunch of safer more controllable options.
Time: day trip
Objective Hazards:
Avalanches!!! Please don't do anything stupid
