Lake Placid, New York - Karbon Schure Sports Inc. (SSI), the
Canadian-based clothing outfitter, is partnering with the United
States Bobsled & Skeleton Federation (USBSF) to become their official
winter clothing and race wear supplier. The agreement will extend
past the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy. Peter Schure,
Resort and Team Coordinator of SSI and Matt Roy, Executive Director
of the USBSF, made the joint announcement.
"This association is perfect synergy between leaders in their
respective fields. We are proud to partner with the US Bobsled and
Skeleton Federation and look forward to having their athletes
standing on the podium in Karbon. Our relationship with USBSF
exemplifies our commitment to supporting world class athletes,"
stated Schure. "All Karbon products are designed with the highest
technical specs and features and we are pleased that Olympic and
World Champions utilize these garments to their fullest capabilities.
This will be one of several elite teams that will partner with us in
researching and developing new fabrics and technologies that will
give Karbon an unprecedented level in active apparel".

"Just as the U.S. National Bobsled and Skeleton Team athletes set the

The United States Bobsled and Skeleton Federation has a history of
success. They took home six medals at the last winter Olympics and
then, during the 2002-2003 season, they laid claim to 17 World Cup
and World Championship medals (4 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze).
