King Snow Magazine First Issue Out Soon!

King Snow Editor Natalie Langmann may have served you one too many sake margaritas at Sushi Village, and now she's serving up a brand new super-slick snowboard magazine: King Snow. The website is ultra entertaining and we can't wait to see what the glossy pages of this new snowboard mag have in store for us. The first issue is sure to impress, since it features the musings of wordsmith Feet Banks who regularily graces the pages of Whistler's Pique newsmagazine. Also, Rocky Mountain snowboard bum Andrew Hardingham is always full of classic comments and interesting ideas.

PRESS RELEASE:

From the makers of King Shit, comes what might just be the greatest snowboard magazine ever produced (in Canada this month) – King Snow!

Lovingly crafted by a combination of former Future Snowboarding, SBC and Big Brother alumni, the King of All Snowboard Magazines promises to make reading a snow mag fun again, or at least slightly less boring than what you’re currently used to.

Ben Bilocq took our first ever cover, breaking the laws of reality by having two photos of the same trick on one image, thanks to photographer Oli Gagnon. Everyone’s favorite artist and overall human being, Andrew Pommier, served as Guest Art Director of the first issue, providing us with his interpretation of the original King Snow logo as well as a ton of art on the inside.

As for actual content, we not only gave Ben Bilocq the cover, but Dave Carnie also caught up with him for a 12-page interview. Then Natalie Langmann investigated a few members of the Gypsy Mob and got to the bottom of what goes through the minds of these Winnipeg-born rippers.

Tracey Anderson and Feet Banks terrorized Jess Kimura, Jed Anderson and Alex Cantin with some AMBUSH interviews. Andrew Hardingham told us how to use sick puppy dogs to your advantage when negotiating a contract, Dustin Craven shared his Best Story Ever and we caught up with Martin Gallant at his rustic mountain lair.

Other than that, it’s full of a bunch of a random funny shit that you’re sure to enjoy— because it’s available for FREE at a shop near you on Monday November 9th!
