3rd Annual Golden Film Festival

The Golden Film Festival is on March 20 at 7:15pm, doors open at 6pm. The event started out in 2008 as a small local only film festival.We only screen films that have been shot within the BC Interior, which represent the true culture of our Interior mountain communities and surroundings.

The Golden Film Festival started out in 2008 as a small local only film festival.  Its purpose was to celebrate and showcase the amazing winter we had and to look forward to the summer that's coming.  The GFF also invited films from youth inorder to help promote active lifestyles and media arts within our communities.  Both the 2008 and 2009 events sold out and we were able to donate the proceeds to local non-profit organizations.  After two amazing events we have decided to open our doors.  We will now be accepting film submissions from all, but the content must be within the BC Interior (see submission rules). During 2008 and 2009, Rider Media's Cliff Markham was the sole organizer of the festival and for 2010, he has teamed up with Kicking Horse Culture to help expand the festival.  The Golden Film Festival is not your average film festival.  We only screen films that have been shot within the BC Interior, which represent the true culture of our Interior mountain communities and surroundings.
