"Late March 2013, I had the great opportunity to visit the famed Retallack Lodge with other members of the Orage family. Banks Gilberti, Charley Ager, Tatum Monod, and I shot with Felix Rioux and Jake Strassman as Mike Nick orchestrated everything. Retallack is over the top- a delicious hearty breakfast and packed lunches allows for a full day of lapping deep, pillow filled forests before a...

The weather was sunny and dry for 2 months. All the local powderhounds were crying into their beers waiting for snow. I got tired of waiting, so instead of riding pow I decided it was time to explore new big...

Look at this Beast! She's beautiful from a distance, but it's hard not to think about what it would be like to be caught in the belly of a monster like this. This is a great shot though, filmed from the perfect vantage point. And the people around Stevens Pass will be stoked that they have some new gladed terrain once things settle out.

"Cruising the groomers is one of the first things a snowboarder does, but also one of the hardest to really master. Lots of people can ride fast, but it's not until you see a guy like Terje Haakonsen effortlessly blast a huge method off of a nonexistent bump, or Ben Ferguson lay down an armpit dragging carve that you realize just what's possible on a regular old groomer. Riding fast, getting...

After a solid month of being deflected elsewhere by an errant Jetstream, the winter storms just returned to The Coastal Mountains and blasted their flanks, peak to valley, with almost two metres of snowfall. It was a bit ugly at first. People were lining up for the pow like it was the last crate of Spam on Judgment Day. But with the shred community fighting fatigue and nursing their...
