February storms arrived with force and did not disappoint! Powder lovers rejoiced around Whistler Blackcomb while enjoying over five feet of light snow delivered by Mother Nature. Thanks to our Patrol and Operations teams we were all able to put the powder boards to use and enjoy winter at its finest. Whistler Blackcomb is now 100% open with all 8171 acres of terrain ready to ride!

Finally, after staring at all the mountains behind the Sochi Olympics for the last couple weeks, we get to see what that cherry terrain looks like under the skis of a few proper freeriders. The Canadian Avalanche Centre (CAC) is issuing a special public avalanche warning for recreational backcountry users in all of the CAC’s forecast regions, except the North Shore Mountains and the Yukon.
