Well, that is to say, she’s better than me. And that can be a hard thing for an old balls rider like myself to admit. But really, it comes as no surprise. I used to be a snowboard instructor at Powder Springs, which was the tiny, one-lift ski hill that pre-dated Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

Say what you will about the internet, it's like a gigantic treasure chest of shredtacular awesomeness. Take this vid here, for example. I'm not even sure how we stumbled across it, but I'm pumped that we did. This guy's a jack of all trades who just dropped a wicked multi-sport edit that we would have never seen were it not for the magical powers of the interweb.

30cm in the last 7 days at Revelstoke Mountain Resort has made for some fantastic skiing and riding, especially with the ideal skiing temperatures and sunshine over this past week.  More snow is in the forecast for later this week from Thursday through to Sunday.

For everyone out there whining about how it hasn't snowed in a while. Chris Christie's slideshow from Deep Winter about a month ago shows that even if the snow's not perfect, you can still go out and get rowdy with your friends. It's also worth noting that the conditions on the coast right now are a lot better than a lot of people think. Yew!
